address in downtown Spokane, Washington. Despite the low AS number this is not an

old network: ARIN shows the autnum registered in March 2025, a clean example

of AS11xxx space being reissued.

What it's used for

• Not determinable from the outside, and the card says so rather than guessing. RIS sees a single IPv4 /24 (256 addresses) plus three IPv6 /48s, announced to exactly one observed neighbour. That is the smallest viable multihoming footprint: enough to be independent of one provider, far too little to infer a business model from.
• No PTRs came back on the addresses sampled. That is a sample and not a finding, so nothing is read into it either way.

• The inventory is clean. 23.136.140.0/24 is a direct ARIN allocation registered to Bridge & Byte itself in March 2025, and the IPv6 comes out of a single 2602:f6b1::/36. None of the leasing tells apply here: no third-party registrants, no multi-RIR scatter, no space announced on someone else's behalf.
• The registered contact uses a bridgebyte.consulting address with a New York phone number against the Spokane postal address, and the company has no findable web presence. Unremarkable for a one-person consultancy, but it leaves no independent confirmation of what the network does.
