Island IT company in East Setauket, New York. It runs a certified data centre alongside a

managed-services and web-development business: colocation, managed servers, offsite backup

and disaster recovery, plus web design and hosting for local clients.

What it's used for

• Hosting and managed infrastructure for customers of that data centre, and the company's own network. The reverse DNS shows both halves at once: most sampled addresses carry the operator's own generic naming (5.130.11.66.staffordnet.com, and a router named rtr7206a.staffordnet.com), while one resolves to www.timecreations.com — a customer's website living directly in the AS. Space that carries third-party web presences is hosting space.
