NULINK is held today by WideOpenWest Finance LLC (WOW!). NuLink was the cable and

broadband operator serving Newnan, Georgia and surrounding communities; WOW! acquired it,

and the AS number now announces WOW! southeastern cable space alongside the original NuLink

blocks.

What it's used for

• Carrying a regional cable/broadband access network. RIS sees 16 IPv4 prefixes / 10,752 addresses and just 1 observed neighbour — the single-upstream shape of an access network sitting downstream of its parent's backbone, not of a peering or transit operator.
• The reverse DNS is what identifies the customer base: nulinkdigital.com and numail.org are the operator's own service domains, while pc4.cityofnewnan.org, www.newnanmall.com and www.outmed.com are local Newnan-area subscribers. That mix — operator infrastructure plus small local businesses and a municipality — is exactly what a community cable ISP's address space looks like.

• Every prefix registers to a WideOpenWest entity: NUNET (WideOpenWest Finance LLC), GA-NWNN (WIDEOPENWEST) and SC-CHAR (WideOpenWest). The regional handles are geographic labels for the operator's own market footprints (Newnan GA, Charleston SC), not third-party registrants — so this is one operator's inventory, not brokered space.
• No IPv6 is announced on this AS.

Interesting

• The handle preserves a brand that no longer exists commercially. The AS number kept the NuLink name through the acquisition while the org record moved to WideOpenWest, which is why registry name and routing owner disagree here.
