What it's used for

Shared web hosting and the domain services that go with it: virtual hosting accounts, domain registration and parking, mail forwarding, a control panel and a site builder. The reverse DNS is the giveaway and it is first-party: 205.233.73.133 resolves to dns01.vm.your-site.com — a nameserver, on a virtual machine, in the operator's own retail brand domain. That is hosting infrastructure serving customer sites, which is why the network is classified by what the space carries rather than by the "-soft" in the holder's name.

Notable

The inventory is tiny and entirely self-held: one announced v4 prefix, 205.233.73.0/24 (256 addresses), no IPv6, registered to FLUID-NET1 (org: Fluidsoft Incorporated). Four observed BGP neighbours against a single /24 is a slightly higher upstream count than such a small network strictly needs, which is consistent with a hosting provider that cares about staying reachable — availability matters more to a hosting business than raw capacity does.

Interesting

A single /24 is a very small footprint for a shared-hosting brand, but that is exactly how mass virtual hosting works: hundreds or thousands of sites share a handful of IP addresses by name, so the address count says almost nothing about how many customers sit behind it. Address count is a poor proxy for scale on any hosting AS.
