AS11504 QUMULUSAI

QUMULUSAI is held by QumulusAI, an AI and HPC cloud provider selling on-demand and bare-metal NVIDIA GPU compute. ARIN registers the AS to QumulusAI at a Marietta, Georgia address, and its RIPEstat holder string still carries the earlier corporate name, The Cloud Minders, Inc.

What it's used for

Provider infrastructure for a GPU cloud business. The company's product is rented compute for training and inference, so the routed space serves machines it operates rather than staff or subscribers. RIS sees 9 IPv4 prefixes and 2,304 addresses, all of them /24s, and no IPv6. That is a small routed footprint for a GPU cloud, which is normal: a GPU fleet consumes far more power and far fewer public addresses than a general hosting fleet, and most of the capacity sits behind a modest pool of public IPs.

Notable

The prefixes register to three different orgs, which is the shape that usually deserves suspicion, and here it clears. Four /24s in 69.8.144.0–69.8.159.0 register to QumulusAI's own ARIN org. Two more register to Performive LLC, a colocation and cloud provider with facilities in Atlanta and Marietta, the same metro as QumulusAI, so that is provider-assigned space in a colo QumulusAI is a tenant of, not an unrelated third party. The remaining two are ARIN "Private Customer" reassignments, and one wears Colocation America's default reverse DNS, which again names the facility rather than the occupant.

Interesting

Despite the low AS number, this is not an early-internet network. ARIN registered AS11504 to QumulusAI in December 2024, so the number is a reissue and the operator behind it is new. Nine observed neighbours fit a provider that buys transit and peers lightly, not a carrier.
