Corporate/enterprise connectivity for one Oracle site, not a public service platform. The two announced prefixes are 129.145.73.0/24 and 198.17.210.0/24. Both are registered to Oracle Corporation itself: the first under an Oracle netblock handle, the second under a block literally named ORACLE-SUN-FORTE-LEGACY-ACQUISITIONS. That is first-party registration with no third-party registrants anywhere in the inventory, so there is nothing here resembling the leased-IP or proxy shape. A single upstream neighbour and 512 addresses is the signature of an office or lab site homed to one provider, not of a carrier or a hosting estate.

The SUN in the handle is Sun Microsystems, which Oracle acquired in 2010; 129.145.0.0/16 is classic Sun address space. The registrant handle preserves an even deeper layer of history, naming Forte Software, which Sun itself had acquired years before Oracle acquired Sun. The AS number changed hands without ever being renamed, which is why a 2026 Oracle network still answers to a Sun-era handle.
