EFXSECURE is a corporate network of Equifax, the Atlanta-based consumer credit bureau (EFX is its NYSE ticker). It announces 29 IPv4 prefixes, roughly 15,100 addresses, and one IPv6 /48 (2620:118:2020::/48), behind 5 observed neighbours.

What it's used for

Enterprise IT for a credit-reporting and data-analytics business. The inventory is built around two owned ranges, 216.46.96.0/19 and 165.183.160.0/21 upward, deaggregated into /20s, /22s and /24s, with a scatter of small blocks in legacy AT&T space (12.10.115.0/24, 12.104.201.0/24, 12.144.147.0/24). One big block sliced per site, plus a few provider-assigned /24s kept from older circuits, is the ordinary shape of a large corporate WAN, not of a hosting or leasing network.

The 216.46.96.0/19 blocks are registered in ARIN as EFXSECURE-1 to Equifax, Inc., and 12.144.147.0/24 as EQUIFAX634-147 to EQUIFAX. The RDAP lookups on the 165.183.x prefixes failed, which is not clearance and not evidence either way, so nothing here rests on them.

Notable

Five neighbours against 15,100 addresses is an enterprise multihoming posture: several upstreams for resilience, no transit sold. What the space carries is the public edge of a credit bureau, which is to say the systems that lenders, employers and consumers reach to submit and query credit data, along with the B2B interchange that feeds it.

No PTRs came back for any of the 20 addresses sampled. That is a sample, not a finding, and it supports no inference about how the zone is delegated.
