AS-MCAD is the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, a private art-and-design college in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The AS exists to route the college's own campus network.

Campus connectivity, and nothing else visible. RIS sees a single IPv4 prefix, 150.253.0.0/19 — 8,192 addresses — no IPv6, and one observed BGP neighbour. One upstream and one contiguous block is the textbook shape of a single-campus institution: the AS number lets the college keep its address space independent of whichever regional research or commercial provider it buys transit from, without any need to peer widely. A /19 for a small college is generous by today's standards but entirely normal for institutional space assigned when addresses were handed out per-institution rather than per-host.

The prefix is registered in ARIN as network MCAD-NET, org Minneapolis College of Art and Design — the registrant is the holder, so the space is the college's own rather than provider-assigned or leased. No PTRs came back on the two addresses sampled, but two probes prove nothing about the zone and no inference should be drawn from that either way.

Interesting

MCAD is a good illustration that education is about the institution and what the space carries, not about size or peering weight. Eight thousand addresses behind a single transit link serves a student body of roughly a couple of thousand: labs, studios, print and rendering infrastructure, dorm networking and staff systems, all under one origin.
