Deseret's properties are news and classifieds publishing — the Deseret News and KSL brands — so this is a publisher's network, not a service provider's.

Notable

The prefix registrants do not all say "Deseret", and it is worth walking through why that is not the leasing signature. 199.104.95.0/24 is registered to Deseret News — a sibling company in the same group, which is ordinary intra-group history, not a third party. The remaining two /24s (174.34.254.0/24, 209.127.200.0/24) are registered to an org recorded simply as BCC, whose ARIN address is 55 N 300 W, Salt Lake City — the same downtown block as the Deseret media operation. A registrant sitting at the holder's own street address is affiliated, not unrelated, and the leasing tell requires unrelated registrants scattered across RIRs. This inventory is one RIR, one city, one corporate family.

The reverse DNS on those two BCC blocks is the loose thread: sampled addresses resolve to m4005.mail.beliefnet.com and m5005.mail.beliefnet.com. Beliefnet, the faith-and-spirituality site, has been under separate Virginia ownership since 2010, so these look like bulk-mail hosts whose reverse zone records outlived the arrangement that created them. rDNS shows what a block is plumbed into, never who holds it — the registry, not the PTR, is what identifies this network.
