UNIVERSITY-LETHBRIDGE is the campus network of the University of Lethbridge, a public research university in Lethbridge, Alberta, with a second campus in Calgary. This is a straightforward single-institution academic AS.

What it's used for

The /16 is registered to ULETH, org University of Lethbridge — the holder announces its own space, under its own ARIN handle, with nothing leased in. A clean single-registrant, single-prefix, self-held inventory rules out every ambiguity that makes other ASNs in this range hard to classify.

Interesting

Announcing one prefix and nothing else, with no more-specific deaggregation, is unusually tidy. Most /16 holders end up punching out /24s over the years for multihoming or traffic engineering. Lethbridge has not needed to.
