ARINC is ARINC Incorporated of 2551 Riva Road, Annapolis, Maryland (ARIN org ARINCI) — the aviation-communications company founded in 1929 as Aeronautical Radio, Inc., acquired by Rockwell Collins in December 2013 and today part of Collins Aerospace. The AS still carries the original corporate identity in ARIN.

What it's used for

Purpose-built enterprise and service infrastructure for aeronautical communications rather than general internet access.
