SHOWNETSAS is showNets LLC, an Arizona company that designs and runs the temporary networks behind trade shows, conferences and convention-centre events — high-density Wi-Fi, exhibitor internet, and the venue-side infrastructure that carries it. ARIN registers the organisation (handle SHOWN) in Scottsdale.

What it's used for

Event and venue connectivity. RIS observes three IPv4 prefixes — 192.251.104.0/24, 192.251.105.0/24 and 208.78.239.0/24, 768 addresses in total — no IPv6, and four BGP neighbours. The small, portable address footprint fits the business: a show network is built, used hard for a few days, and torn down, and what has to be stable across all of that is a modest pool of publicly routable space that can follow the company from venue to venue.

Notable

Two of the three prefixes carry the ARIN network name FACILITIES-NETWORKS, which at first glance reads like a different registrant — the pattern that would flag an address-leasing operation. RDAP settles it: that block is registered to showNets LLC itself, at the same Scottsdale address as the third prefix. FACILITIES-NETWORKS is a network label, not a third party. The AS announces only its own space.

This is worth stating explicitly, because a network name and a registrant organisation are different fields and confusing them is exactly how a legitimate operator gets mislabelled as a broker.
