PANDG is the corporate network of The Procter and Gamble Company, the Cincinnati-headquartered consumer-goods multinational. It is a textbook enterprise AS: a very large, entirely self-registered legacy address estate reached through a bare handful of upstreams.

RIS sees 39 announced IPv4 prefixes carrying 4,109,056 addresses, no IPv6, and only 2 observed neighbours. That ratio is the whole story. Four million addresses is more than many regional ISPs announce, but a network that peers with two other ASes is buying transit, not selling it, and is not aggregating eyeballs either. This is one company's internal estate, reachable through a couple of carriers. The announced blocks are unusually large corporate aggregates drawn from the 137, 143, 151 and 155 ranges: 143.32.0.0/13, 137.176.0.0/13, 143.24.0.0/13, 155.124.0.0/14 and similar.

Every prefix whose registration was checked resolves back to a Procter and Gamble handle: PGINTERNET143, PGINTERNET137, PGINTERNET155, PGINTERNET192229, PGINTERNET19244. There is no third-party registrant anywhere in the list. That matters, because a big, lightly-peered, scattered-looking estate is also the shape of an address-leasing operation. Here the registry says otherwise: the space is held and announced by the same real company. ARIN records the ASN to The Procter and Gamble Company at One Procter and Gamble Plaza, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Interesting

The address count is a legacy artifact rather than a measure of activity. No enterprise applying today would receive several million IPv4 addresses, and this AS announces no IPv6 at all.
