GCN-AS belongs to Grand Central Networks Inc., a very small US company (business listings put it at 14 Vanderventer Ave, Port Washington, New York, with a headcount in single figures). It should not be confused with GrandCentral, the VoIP startup Google turned into Google Voice, nor with Grand Central Station Internet Services ([AS15251](https://asn.ipinfo.app/AS15251)) — three unrelated holders sharing a name.

The single sampled PTR — chicago-pwr1.grand-central.net — is the most informative thing in the pack. It is first-party reverse DNS: the operator's own domain on its own router, in a Chicago facility. That matters because the prefix list otherwise has a slightly scattered look (three unrelated ARIN blocks for one tiny company), and scattered space with third-party or absent rDNS is how address-leasing shells present. Self-named infrastructure inside the range argues the opposite: a real, if minor, operator running its own kit.
