GBUS-ASN is held by Globius Systems, LLC, a managed IT services provider based at 7901 4th St N in St. Petersburg, Florida. Globius sells managed IT, network security, and telco and cloud services to small and medium businesses in Florida and to remote clients.

What it's used for

The footprint is small and modern in shape: RIS observes one IPv4 prefix, 142.202.137.0/24 (256 addresses), and one IPv6 prefix, 2602:803:1000::/44. The v6 /44 is much roomier than the v4 /24 — a telling asymmetry. It says the network was numbered after the IPv4 exhaustion era, when a small operator could get exactly one /24 and as much IPv6 as it asked for.

A /24 plus a /44 is what an MSP announces when it wants portable, provider-independent space for the things it runs on its clients' behalf: managed firewalls, remote-access and VPN endpoints, mail and monitoring, small hosted workloads.

Notable

The kind is business services. One observed BGP neighbour makes this a single-homed stub: it originates its own space and provides transit to nobody, so it is neither a carrier nor an eyeball ISP. And 256 IPv4 addresses is far too little to be a hosting platform of any consequence.

Note the mismatch between the AS number and the company. AS10419 was allocated in the 1990s while Globius Systems was registered as a Florida company in 2019 — a legacy number that changed hands. The handle is a poor guide here; the routing and the company's own service catalogue are the evidence.
