INFOSHARE is CoreLAN Communications, Inc., a small network operator registered in Mississauga, Ontario. The AS was registered in 1997 and the matching ARIN network object, INFOSHARE-NET, covers 205.189.240.0–205.189.247.255.

Connectivity and hosted service for Canadian business customers. CoreLAN keeps almost no public marketing presence, so the network itself is the primary evidence — and it points at a commercial customer base rather than a consumer one.

Notable

The single sampled PTR is unusually informative: weds.bns.symcor.com. Symcor is a major Canadian business-process outsourcer — cheque and payment processing, statement production — jointly owned by the big Canadian banks, and bns is the standard ticker abbreviation for the Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank). A named host, in a corporate subdomain, belonging to a bank-owned payments processor, sitting inside CoreLAN's /21. That is a business customer's server on a provider's network. There is no dsl-, pool-, dhcp- or cust-dyn naming anywhere in the sample.

Routing is small and consistent: RIS observes 5 IPv4 prefixes carrying 2,048 addresses — 205.189.240.0/21 announced whole plus four /24 deaggregates of the same block — behind 3 BGP neighbours. One contiguous estate, three upstreams, no peering breadth. Classified business: a provider selling into enterprises, not a transit carrier and not an eyeball ISP.

The deaggregation pattern (a /21 plus its own /24s) is a classic small-provider traffic-engineering habit: announce the covering route everywhere, then steer individual customer blocks down whichever upstream performs best.
