NEGIA-NET is held today under the name SNAPPYDSL.NET — the network brand of Snappy Internet & Telecom of Miami, Florida, a company that began in 1992 as a computer VAR and now sells data and voice services to businesses across the US: fixed wireless, fibre ethernet, gigabit building service, hosted PBX, plus VPS, colocation and backup.

Notable

The handle is a fossil, and a good illustration of why handles are not evidence. NEGIA-NET stands for Northeast Georgia Internet Access, a small community ISP in Georgia that registered the AS in 1997. The organisation name on the record is now SnappyDSL.NET, a Miami company. Handles outlive holders; only the current registration and the routing tell you who is actually operating.
