AS10185 HNB-AS Hana Bank Co.

HNB-AS is the network of Hana Bank, one of South Korea's major commercial

banks and the retail banking arm of Hana Financial Group. This is a bank's own

corporate and service network, not a provider network.

What it's used for

• The bank's internet edge: online and mobile banking, card and payment gateways, corporate-banking portals, and the internet-facing systems that connect its branch estate and data centres.

Notable

• The kind is business. RIS observes 24 IPv4 prefixes, 6,144 addresses and 3 observed neighbours. That combination is the enterprise signature at scale: a bank with millions of customers still needs only three upstream links, because its customers reach it across the internet rather than through it. A network of this address size in a carrier role would be visible to RIS with hundreds of neighbours.
• What is distinctive here is the fragmentation. All 24 prefixes are /24s, and they come from a dozen unrelated KRNIC ranges — 220.126.26.0/24, 211.32.31.0/24, 61.33.244.0/24, 59.11.68.0/24, 210.92.200.0/24 and so on. That is the fingerprint of a bank built by mergers: Hana absorbed several institutions (most recently Korea Exchange Bank in 2015), and each acquisition brought its own small blocks along with it.
