SECUREIPITS-AS-AP is SecureIP Pty Ltd, a Sydney-based secure hosting and managed-infrastructure provider. The ITS in the handle is the company's IT-services arm, not an acronym for anything larger.

What it's used for

Hosting and managed servers for Australian customers. In RIS the AS is seen announcing 3 IPv4 prefixes totalling 768 addresses — 203.98.65.0/24, 203.98.87.0/24 and 203.23.250.0/24 — and no IPv6. Two of the three come from the same legacy 203.98.x range and the third from an unrelated 203.23.x block, which is what a long-lived Australian provider's address holdings look like after two decades of separate APNIC assignments rather than a single contiguous grant.

This is a small hosting network, and the routing supports it rather than a carrier reading. Under a thousand addresses with 1 observed BGP neighbour cannot be transit: a wholesale provider peers with hundreds of ASes. What it can be — and what SecureIP sells — is a provider running customer servers out of a Sydney facility on its own portable address space, which is precisely why a business that size bothers to hold an AS at all: it lets customers keep their IPs if the upstream changes.

The SecureIP name is a marketing claim, not a network property, and nothing in the routing data speaks to the security posture of the space. Treat the block as ordinary Australian hosting space and geolocate it to Sydney, not to an end-user population.
