AS10094 UNN-BN Unified National Networks

UNN-BN is Unified National Networks, the state-owned company that now owns essentially all fixed telecommunications infrastructure in Brunei. The addresses in this AS are Brunei's consumer broadband pool, inherited from the former incumbent TelBru.

What it's used for

UNN was created on 4 December 2018 and, on 1 September 2019, absorbed the networks previously run by DST, TelBru, Progresif and Brunei International Gateway. Brunei deliberately collapsed a competitive retail market into a single wholesale infrastructure monopoly: UNN builds and operates the fibre, mobile backhaul and international gateway, and licensed service providers resell over it. This AS is the IP-layer inheritance of that consolidation.

This is an eyeball network, and reverse DNS is decisive. Sampled PTRs land almost entirely in TelBru's retail broadband namespaces: …adsl.static.espeed.com.bn, …adsl2.static.espeed.com.bn, ftth.brunet.bn, …dialup.static.brunet.bn. Brunet and e-Speed were the incumbent's dial-up and DSL consumer brands, and the ftth entries show the same estate being migrated to fibre. RIS confirms the scale that implies: 202 IPv4 prefixes / 52,736 addresses, deaggregated down from 61.6.0.0 and 119.160.0.0 /18s into hundreds of /22s and /24s, with 44 observed neighbours — enough interconnection for a national incumbent, nowhere near a wholesale carrier's hundreds.

Interesting

Note the mismatch worth carrying into geolocation: the holder is now a wholesale-only company, but the space is still retail subscriber access. Treat these addresses as Bruneian home users, not as carrier or infrastructure IPs.
